Okay, I got some good news!

First up, the damage didn't seem as bad as we thought.  We need a new battery, the fender is bent back, the radiator needs to be fixed, the hood's messed, but we think with some repairs it can be drivable.  In addition, my stepbrother, who's a mechanic, just happens to have a car that is VERY similar to mine on his yard ( ( Read more... )

I'm going to cut short my narrative about what happened after I hit the deer.  Suffice to say, they towed my car, and the officer gave me a ride to work.

So, yesterday I went out and did some shopping.  It was kind of crazy, I went to Wal-Mart to get my oil changed, and they said it'd probably be about an hour and half wait.  So, I'm like, "Are you sure?"  They said, "Well, there's only one guy back there right now and there's three cars ahead of you."  But get this, then they tell me the other two ( Read more... )

This has been kind of an odd "weekend" for me.  I was off Tuesday and Wednesday and, unlike usual, I work tonight.  I wasn't able to do too much this weekend as my car is STILL being worked on, but hopefully it'll be done sometime this evening.  Had a couple of things I was hoping to get done today that would have required my car, buuut..

Work, really, REALLY sucked today.  I don't know.. getting this crazy feeling that they're trying to get me to quit without actually firing me.  For the past TWO weeks, I've gotten eight (yes, EIGHT) scheduled hours.  Two shifts of four hours.  The job has never been a steady source of work, but usually I at least get 16.  So, I don't know.. maybe ( Read more... )
